This is an example of one of Kate Nash's album covers. it features her but she isn't the main focus. the main focus is the house, which inks to the title of the album, 'made of bricks'. the overall look of the CD is still quite old fashioned and there is the idea of perfection, the perfect little house with nice flowers around it has the happy girl in front of it. the album cover makes it seem that the music would be quite happy and upbeat. her name is written in a personalised font which looks quite childlike, this is the same font used on all of the CD covers which gives a link between them all. her name stands out most, more than the title of the album, which shows it is more important because It is most probably more well known and they are trying to sell her as an artist.
This is one of Kate Nash's single CD covers. it has the similar font for her name, which once again stands out the most. varying from her album cover, the image isn't of her, it is a childlike drawn animation which doesn't relate to the title of the song 'foundations'. this could be a representation of how shes quite quirky and different from other artists. the colours are quite bright which represents fun, which gives the impression that Kate Nash herself is fun and different.
Here is another example of one of her singles. once again it doesn't link to the title 'merry happy'. however the image is of the three blind mice, from a well known children's rhyme, this gives a childlike effect again with the animation and also the font of her name again.
