filming

We have now done the majority of our filming. After uploading what we have done, there were certain parts which we havae decided to re-film once we have done the rest of the filming. during the filming process we also experimented with some different shots from what wasn't included in our storyboards. Once everything is uploaded onto Adobe premier pro we will decide if we want to include these for more variety in our final music video. During the begining of the filming we found that staying with our production schedule was best, however we did have to make some changes to it for the outdoor scenes because of the weather and re-scheduled them. For the CSI scenes it was daylight when we filmed, however in the lyrics its says that it was saturday night. We had to block the light coming through the window and turn the lights down, but if we turned them down too much, the quality of the filming wasn't as strong, but we manged to get the correct lighting for our scene.

This is a continuity photograph for the party sccene which we will need for the next day we do the rest of the filming for the party scene to ensure that she looks the same.

Links to the representation of women to eat chocolate and ice cream when they are upset. Mise en scene: Ben and jerrys cookie dough ice cream, dairy milk, blanket and pyjamas. We recorded CSI to ensure that we would have it for the day.





Spy scene. Dressed all in black with sunglasses and a hat to hide herself. she is also carrying a newspaper which she puts in her a bag and uses later on in the scene.

We have now started filming and as we have been going along we have taken pictures to ensure continuity in her image and the mise en scene. Here we also have the location photos of 'Kate Nash's' house. We have also taken photos of the different types of shots which we have included in our filming.

mood board

This is the mood board we did previously for everything to do with our media video, CD cover and advertisement. It shows our inspirations and themes we have included. We have looked at 50s icons such as Audrey Hepburn and Marilyn Monroe and inspiration for her image and some background on the 50s fr when we shoot our 50s scenes. we have also looked at the idea of "Prince Charming" and the idea of a happy ending and fairy tales as we knew that the narrative of Kate Nash's song is that she wanted the perfect relationship, however it was a happy ending for her.
We found some articles in a newspaper on achieving the 50s look which will help us when it comes to filming for when we dress Claudia up.
When looking at a few of her previous Cd covers, it reminded us of the illustrations of Roald Dahl which we also looked at. We thought it gave a childlike effect and so does the font on the Cd covers. In a different way we would like to give this childlike effect and illustrations. Also on our poster we plan to have Kate Nash sitting in a swing from a tree...a childlike impression and gives the idea of a happy perfect world.

continuity

Here we have taken a photo of Claudia at the begining of filming, in order to have continuity for the parts where she has to look the same which are the scenes where she is at home and the make-up will also be the same when she is out with her friends in the park.

In order to get this look, Claudia is wearing hair extentions which we have put in heated rollers. She is wearing black liquid eyeliner and bright pink lipstick. She is also wearing a vintage dress which we think had a 1950s look.
