scripts and cast

Hollie and I decided to write our script and decide on our cast. In our script we included details of stage directions, conversations and reactions. We then asked the people which we chose and gave them a script to learn. we asked them to learn the lines and we gave them a schedule for filming to see if they can film. we then decided on costumes and made sure we were able to use all the locations.

storyboard

Today, Hollie and I were discussing the main task and we decided on how to display our opening credits. We are going to have them displayed in the scene when opening the locker and writing on paper. The title will be on the stage with the characters around it. We have drawn our storyboard and have a rough idea on the timing of each of the shots. We now know what shots we are including. with our storyline, we didn't want it to be too cliched so we decided that the main popular girl in the film would be having issues at home which result in the way she is with people. We have also decided on the locations which we can and will be using.

Today, hollie wasnt in so i decided to develop our ideas for the main task. i did a rough copy of our story board which i will then check she is happy with and then do it in neat. i also thought about the mise en scene, by thinking about where scenes could take place and what props could be used and decided on a few places. we now have an idea for a name for our film, but havent definatly decided, it is 'COMAND.' i was also thinking about people which i could get to be in our film who have experience in drama.

Today, my group decided on the theme for both tasks. For task one we decided on the theme of having two spy's meeting in a cafe and having a conversation. Then, for task 2 we decided to have a completely different theme which would be on teenagers in school. For this time we were develpoing on the second task. I thought of a way which the title could be displayed and my partner Hollie decided on how we could display the credits and we both liked eachothers ideas so decided thats what we would do. We also decided on the type of music genre we wanted which was indie/rock so we will try and find something which wouldnt be copyright.
