Preliminary task script

This is the script Hollie and I wrotefor the waiting room:


The waiting room
DANIELLE walks through the door into the waiting room. She passes another patient and goes to the desk.
DANIELLE
Hello
CHANNEL
Hi, what’s your name?
DANIELLE
Danielle
CHANNEL
Go straight through please…
CHANNEL directs DANIELLE to the doctor (DR GLYNN). DANIELLE walks over to DR GLYNN and DR GLYNN shakes her hand and introduces herself as they sit down.
DR GLYNN
Hello I’m Dr Glynn and your name is…Danielle?
DANIELLE
Yes
DR GLYNN
Okay Danielle I’m going to get you to fill out a quick form for me…in fact ill fill it out for you. So it’s Danielle with a D.
DANIELLE nods.
DR GLYNN
How old are you?
DANIELLE
16.
DR GLYNN
So why are you here Danielle?
DANIELLE
I don’t know…
DANIELLE takes out a chocolate bar. A Whisper…her favourite.
DR GLYNN
What’s that you have there? Is that a chocolate bar?
DANIELLE looks at DR GLYNN strangely but nods along.
DR GLYNN
Ooo whisper is that you’re favourite? That’s my favourite.
DANIELLE
Ooo look the suns come out. We should go outside…
DR GLYNN
No I don’t think that’s a good idea.
DANIELLE
Why not...we could have the meeting out side with the birds and the bees…
DR GLYNN
Why don’t we have it in here and we can look outside.
DANIELLE
It feels like the walls are closing in.
DANIELLE is paranoid.
DR GLYNN
What’s the matter Danielle?
DANIELLE
Is it me or is the room getting smaller?
DR GLYNN
Danielle are you okay?
DR GLYNN is interrupted by another patient, Hollie.
HOLLIE
Dr Glynn, Dr Glynn I need to talk to you!!! (shouting)
DR GLYNN
Hollie what are you doing here? Do the nurses know your out?
HOLLIE runs out excited and DR GLYNN runs after her, worrying, leaving DANIELLE by herself.

Today we edited our film a bit more by adding the text which was necessary for the beginning credits. We put credits on the locker when she closes it and on the paper as character 2 is writing. we had to choose the font and colour which was best suited to the storyline and genre.

We then decided to change our idea for the preliminary task. This is because the place which we planed was no longer available and we also thought that we could get some more interesting shots and dialogue. we changed it from a spy theme to be a therapist's office. we have now done the storyboard and plan to film next week and have done a schedule for it.

Today, Hollie and I completed editing what we had filmed and made a schedule for the remainder for our filming.

Today we edited the bus shot and the main scenes and muted the main scene so that we can play music over it.
